A light and airy modern brick Village Hall. Newly built only twelve years ago, large enough to seat 90, people comfortably, well-equipped kitchen, bar area that can be stocked & provided when required (subject to restrictions), meeting room with appropriate table and chairs, two sports changing rooms with showers, plus referee's room.

Booking the Hall

The hall is available for hire 7 days a week at reasonable rates as per the booking form, use of the kitchen facilities is charged extra to cover the cost of water and electricity. A visit to the hall to view the facilities before booking can be arranged. Bar services are available dependent on the availability of annual licences the hall has a max of 15 per annum.  

Some Detail:

• The hall has a large level car park which can take approximately 40-50 cars.

• The hall has a large level sports field (football and cricket) which can also be hired for events such as weddings in addition to the hall should you wish to hire a marquee for larger parties than the hall capacity. The hall is set on the edge of the village with views over open fields.

• The hall is all on one level. It is light modern with high ceilings and is centrally heated. The main hall capacity is 100. There is seating for approximately 90 and 14 large long fold away tables (6ft x 2 ½ ft.) in addition to several smaller side tables.

• There is a fully equipped kitchen with a range style cooker, fridge and large tea urn.There is a smaller separate meeting room which has a large table and 6 chairs.

• There is a separate disabled toilet in addition to the ladies (3 x toilets) and the gents (2 x toilets and 2x urinals).

• There are separate sports changing/showers for two separate teams and a separate referee changing/shower room and additional outside toilet.

• There is a bar facility within the main hall and this can be booked but, licences are limited, and this must be discussed with the bookings coordinator as it cannot be guaranteed due to the licence limit in any one year but, where possible we will always try to accommodate.

The booking rates are reviewed each year and the committee try to keep these fair. Each booking will be charged a refundable damage deposit and if the hall is left as found this will be done ASAP after the event.

We do not charge any set up costs for events and we will endeavour to provide you with keys to the hall to suit your needs.
